From day one IIE has been known for its services to the Holy Qur’an. The Institute was established with the purpose of teaching the Qur’an to young American Muslims. Hundreds of students have benefited from IIE and have developed the skills of reading and memorizing the Qur’an through our programs.

Recitation of Qur’an in Tarawih during Ramadan is one of the highlights at IIE, which students are able to benefit from. Students also participate in monthly Qur’an competitions, and now IIE intends to bring this tradition to the masses – we are announcing non-student Qir’at and Nasheed competitions starting this academic year.
